Employment and Outreach Coordinator
Tirthna is a recent graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and minor in Social & Economic Justice. She is passionate about the social determinants of health and combatting health inequity through accessible resources. She strongly believes that sustainable employment for individuals with Autism/IDD is a public health solution, as it addresses a root cause of healthcare access inequity for a large, local population. She has previous experience providing self-sufficiency resources as an Information and Referral volunteer at a domestic violence resource center, as well as through various projects she took on as a Buckley Public Service Scholar. She is very excited for her year of service with AmeriCorps VISTA and The Power of the Dream!
