Come Learn About our 2019 PowerUP Micro-Enterprise Class Sessions Running March 10 – May 25
“Is small business a good option for adults with autism/IDD? How can I start?”

With The Power of the Dream’s PowerUP Micro-Enterprise Program, we educate individuals and their support network about Customized Self-Employment, helping them create a business plan tailored to their strengths and needs. The PowerUP ME Program is a 10 session course for participants and their supporters to learn how to develop a micro-enterprise using the Customized Self-Employment model.
We will be having an informational session on Tuesday March 5 from 6 – 7 PM at the NC Rural Center (4021 Carya Dr., Raleigh) in room 144. We’ll discuss an overview of the class structure, session topics, customized self-employment options, and more!

If you cannot join us for the in-person session, please feel free to reach out to hana@thepowerofthedream.org with your questions.
Details about the classes are below:

PowerUP ME will be structuring the class sessions into three sections: Introduction to Micro-Enterprise, “Nuts and Bolts” of Micro-Enterprise, and In-depth Topics for Micro-Enterprise. On Eventbrite, choose which section(s) you would like to participate in, and we’re offering a $20 discount for individuals who purchase the full 10 class sessions.
